A great book with a very good narrator

This is a good listing of nonprofits using the methods explained in Eric Ries' The Lean Startup and the The Startup Way and why startups need to use LEAN methods. If you work for or volunteer for a nonprofit and want to use Lean Six Sigma for Good, this is an amazing book to listen to. I hope a sequel comes out, as I would like to hear more about these powerful stories of using LEAN in a variety of not-for-profits and charities, including entities to the left and the right of the political spectrum and non-political groups.

This is a high level book, which has now been replaced by another book in print. This book really is better read than listened to. You need to be seeing diagrams and footnotes throughout the book and does not work well as an AudioBook at all.

This sounds like machine reading and is completely unlistenable. I literally forced myself to listen for a few minutes and wanted to claw my eardrums out. The text isn't that great either. Save your time and money and get the books by Jeffrey Ries instead!

After a lengthy Dubliner how you can't take excerpts of the book or summarize it, the author summarizes and takes excerpts from Jeffrey Ries' books on the same topics but gets his name wrong (He calls him Eric). Terms are mispronounced and the chapters/books are not in a logical order at all. About this book. Get Jeffrey Ries' books instead!
