Unexpected twists

it took me a minute to get into the storyline, but I stuck with it and it is definitely a unique one. I had to rewind a couple sections to follow along but it was a great book.

First of all, the narration was superb!
Secondly, the story was good. I could visualize the characters being an Arkansas native myself. 😁 I was really looking forward to how it all came together and the holes in the story filled.
Third, and final thought....it didn't come together. Unless, I missed a few chapters 😂, the story did not come together. The holes in the story are not filled. I was left puzzled, but maybe it was just me.

I will never choose a book with this narrator! Why does she fall off every sentence? I had to have the volume up all the way to hear her. However, it was a good little story. If you're having trouble falling asleep, just find something by this narrator, Oh and caution DO NOT READ WHILE DRIVING!

Brutally honest!

This was a good listen. I enjoyed hearing her just tell it like it is! As a single girl in the 90s myself, I knew who she was, I could really relate to her. My only complaint is that she talks very fast for a southern girl, and sometimes she takes on a weird voice that reminds me of South Park character. Aside from that, I came away from this book having great respect for her, it could not have been easy to write, especially owning up to all her mistakes.

I looked at this book a few times but finally decided to give it a go. I thought it was a great story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaint is that I felt like the end was a bit rushed and could have used a bit more detail in the end. however I still give it five stars
