One of my favorite Mary Calmes books!

When I read this story originally, I found myself on a ranch in Wyoming with such fun characters and a who done it murder. I waited for audio and was not disappointed as I listen and re-listen often. I love Greg Boudreaux narration and will usually buy any audiobook he has made but combine him with a story written by Mary Calmes = INSTANT PURCHASE.

This has become one of my favorite audio books! Actually have listened to it several times and find something to catch my interest every time!! Mary Calmes is a wonder at giving her characters such depth and K.C. Kelly is a master at bringing them to life!

Overall I enjoyed this audio book -- loved the story and narrator was good but not great. Rick Reed's gentle telling of bringing together two good men by way of their mutual love for a sweet little beagle was wonderful.
