I absolutely hated one of the characters, and that was good!
Revisado: 11-20-22
I didn't expect a Gallow Glass follow up, I just saw another book by Morden and got it.
The story grabbed me and I got invested with the characters and their ever evolving madness. Some made me smile, others made me cry. One of them... made my blood boil.
And I loved that! even though that's something I didn't experience with the previous books from Morden. So far they were always great stories with interesting missions. But this time the characters and their psychological breakdown interested me more than the mission.

Simply awesome. (and I want more snarkbot)
Revisado: 09-10-22
This book had me laughing out loud more than any of my recent listens. The characters might not be deep but I honestly don't have any issue with that.
The book easily pulls you along an obvious plot line with a predictable ending. And while that may sound boring, it's executed so incredibly well that I couldn't stop listening!
Ray Porter killed it as usual, he's great for the snarky sassy characters that Dennis seems to sprinkle in everywhere.
I did go into this book with some apprehension because of the reviews but here's my feedback on that:
While the book goes from popculture insanity to scary implications about some actual issues in our current society I don't see what all the people complaining about too much politics are on about.
Yes the story contains politics and does grab issues from our very recent history. But so what?
These issues lend themselves so incredibly perfectly to the plot line that there is no point in creating synonyms for the sake of not stepping on anyones toes.
To the people complaining: If all that you took away from this book was 'damn politics' you were focussing on the wrong thing.

Historia
Civil war looms in the Bobiverse in this brand-new, epic-length adventure by Audible number one best seller Dennis E. Taylor. More than a hundred years ago, Bender set out for the stars and was never heard from again. There has been no trace of him despite numerous searches by his clone-mates. Now Bob is determined to organize an expedition to learn Bender’s fate - whatever the cost. But nothing is ever simple in the Bobiverse. Bob’s descendants are out to the 24th generation now, and replicative drift has produced individuals who can barely be considered Bobs anymore.

All hail the bob, now with kung-fu action and more nerdy humor!
Revisado: 12-06-20
After 3 books that built the awesome Bobiverse I wondered if a 4th would possibly make it stale.
But the writing has improved even more.
The nerd humor seems to have stepped up a notch and the action scenes were exiting and sometimes hilarious.
As usual the series continues on the hard core sci fi science and interesting psychology of being a replicant.
This time however there are some deep philosophical questions that get tackled in ways I can only dream of being true, let's just say that my inner atheist is shaken.
I hope a 5th book is coming but for now will enjoy listening to the entire series at least one more time in the coming year.

Historia
An unabridged reading of the brand-new novel based on a storyline by Douglas Adams. The Doctor promised Romana the end of the universe, so she's less than impressed when what she gets is a cricket match. But then the award ceremony is interrupted by 11 figures in white uniforms and peaked skull helmets wielding bat-shaped weapons that fire lethal bolts of light into the screaming crowd. The Krikkitmen are back.

Revisado: 04-30-19
It is obvious that large parts of the original script were used in 'Life, the Universe and Everything'.
But you're still in for a great ride even if you think you know where this is headed.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Cheer, cry and laugh!
Revisado: 04-20-16
Just finished this book for the second time and have been crying for some 15 minutes...
It's beautifully written and gives a very beautiful perspective of a life trough the eyes of a dog.
Do yourself a favor and listen to this book where you're free to cheer, cry and laugh aloud.
Saying more only spoils this beautiful book.

Great combination of voice and story
Revisado: 12-01-12
Would you consider the audio edition of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy to be better than the print version?
Well only if one can imagine the voice Stephen Fry in his mind... they are on par.
Seeing as most people can't, the audible version is a great deal better!
What does Stephen Fry bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
A great voice and a satisfying tone.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I have a constant smile on my face while listening to it.
Any additional comments?
As my first audible book, I'm stunned!
