Historia
An event planner desperate to prove himself. A CEO with sky-high dreams. The grand opening that brings them together. Dean is the man behind the Blue Star Resort in Castle Harbor. He’s delighted to see his dreams become a reality - even if it means hiring a local to work with his star planner. Despite their friction, Dean can’t help but have eyes for the new arrival. Wyatt left town a long time ago, only to return when hired on for the impressive job of opening the resort. It’s the sort of thing that only comes along once in a lifetime. Just like the CEO of the company.

Satisfying conclusion to the Castle Harbor saga
Revisado: 08-05-19
The final (?) entry in the Castle Harbor series has a happy ending but you're sad to see the whole gang say goodbye. In this conclusion, the Blue Star resort is almost ready to open. The grand opening is a make-or-break event for the two protagonists: Dean Jensen, the CEO, and Wyatt, the event planner (whom we've met earlier in the series). Their careers are riding on the success of the grand opening. Neither expected love to complicate an already complicated situation. Of course, there's an HEA, but there are twists and turns to get there. Austin Jay does his usual fine job telling the story. Recommended.

Workaholic meets alcoholic. Sparks fly.
Revisado: 06-18-19
Alex is the workaholic cafe owner. Tyson is the construction crew leader who is trying to say sober, but struggling with his alcoholism. Each one needs the other--and Alex and Tyson are more alike than different. They just need to give each other a second chance. Or a third one..... This is a powerful story, powerfully told by Austin Jay. The only complaint: It's too short. That's also a compliment.

Historia
Lance’s abject fear of water won’t stop him from designing the interior of the island-bound Castle Harbor resort. Yet a close call brings him in contact with the stunning local captain of a boat touring company. Can he overcome his phobia to find love? Quinn is a single father to his adopted nephew, the pair still raw after losing Quinn's sister. Meeting a new, gorgeous man is entirely unexpected, but very well received. Still, he needs something more permanent than an interior designer in town for a few weeks.

We have a winner!
Revisado: 06-08-19
A man with a paralyzing fear of water encounters a man who earns a living (and is raising his nephew) on an island. Can Lance (the decorator with the phobia) conquer his fear and give in to his attraction to Quinn, the single dad? As always, love conquers all, but not without plenty of twists, turns, and challenges along the way. This is a sad, sweet, and satisfying entry in the Castle Harbor series compellingly narrated by Austin Jay.

Historia
Jace Payne never dreamed he’d be a father at twenty-four - or an orphan, either. After his parents pass away in a plane crash, he’s determined to do right by his two brothers - regardless of what anyone else has to say. The complication? His parents didn’t want Jace to raise his siblings - they wanted his dad’s best friend to adopt them, instead. This audiobook features the pain of working through complicated grief, the rush of allowing a new love to bloom, and the hope that comes when you form a new family to protect and treasure.

What makes a family real?
Revisado: 05-21-19
Jace is trying to take care of his younger brothers after the sudden deaths of their parents. But by terms of their will, his father wanted his best friend Rowan (and Jace's "almost uncle" and godfather) to adopt the younger boys instead of Jace. It's a set-up for a classic conflict, but this story doesn't develop in the way you'd expect. Because both Jace and Rowan know they have to work together to ensure the boys aren't turned over to foster care--and to keep their accidental family together. And Jace is developing feelings for Rowan. This is a powerful story, well told by Nikola Muckajev.

Historia
“Look, I’m not asking you to believe me blindly. Just…give it shot. Just check out the evidence.” This is the big break that Nico has been waiting for - a new piece of evidence has come to light that will exonerate his uncle, who has been in prison for a murder he didn’t commit. Only no one will take him seriously - not even the commanding, dominant, Deputy Case. This audiobook features the dogged determination of familial love, the elation of solving a years-old crime, and two men who can’t help but come to odds when they think that they are always in the right.

Revisado: 05-15-19
I had read this on Kindle, but the Audible book takes it to a higher level. It was like listening to a brand-new story, even though I knew the plot and the twists. Nikola Muckajev does an excellent job with Nico and Landon and all the supporting characters. Strongly recommended.

Historia
Zachary is a brilliant architect, considered to be an artist on blueprints. When the chance of a lifetime comes along, he can’t say no to it. Even if it means running a handsome, young stranger into the ground to succeed. Lucas is the reserved owner of Castle Harbor’s only lodging - an inn left to him by his parents. His temper flares when he hears rumors of a resort coming to the island. Yet, when he meets the architect behind the plans, those flames become a sizzle that he can’t ignore. The business proposition that could destroy them...or bring them closer than ever.

Compelling 2nd entry in Castle Harbor series
Revisado: 05-10-19
Picking up where the last installment left off, this entry continues the Castle Harbor saga with Zach (the architect of the new resort) tangling with Lucas (the owner of the B&B that might get put out of business by said new resort).
Will they start out as casual acquaintances? Become enemies when each one realizes what the other is up to you? End up as lovers when they reluctantly reconcile their differences? Of course! But this is a trip worth taking. Zach and Lucas are proud, all-too-human guys who take a while to understand they are more alike than they think.
J.P. Oliver has written another compelling love story, and Alexander Collins does a great job of narrating it.

Historia
Fail, and you lose it all. Win, and you lose him. Braden is determined to get this resort project off the ground but has one little problem. He faces a very enthusiastic gang of environmentalists protecting puffins. And one of those protesters is awfully cute. Jesse came to Castle Harbor to open the puffin refuge and never left. He’s willing to risk everything for his beloved wildlife habitats. Though he’s well-acquainted with wild beauty, he’s not expecting the habitat’s enemy to be so handsome.

Great start to a new series
Revisado: 04-26-19
Braden is a driven developer. Jesse's a passionate environmentalist. Braden is going to build his company's resort no matter what. Jesse's going to save the island's puffin population no matter what. Inevitably, there's a clash. But where's a clash, there's always friction--and heat. Great enemies to lovers stories with a believable story arc and some surprises along the way. This is a solid beginning to a brand-new series. Looking forward to the next one.

Historia
When Grayson Barker lost his leg during his last deployment with the Marines, he might as well have lost his life. He’s gone aimless and bitter, and even though he knows his friends and family are just trying to help, he’d much prefer it if everyone just left him alone to rot. Having PT isn’t going to help him get his life back - even if his therapist does funny things to his libido.

Revisado: 04-14-19
Strong entry in this series. Grayson's a combat vet coping with a prosthetic leg. Dylan's a physical therapist with his own bad memories. Can they heal each other? Can they heal themselves? Sparks fly, and when there's friction, there's also plenty of heat. This book has it all. Nikola Muckajev does a great job with the narration.

An honorable security guard. A former reality star with a close following. A secret that could destroy them both. Logan is the black sheep of his family, though he runs a very successful security business. He just can’t seem to impress anyone. Maybe that’s why he lost his ex-boyfriend in the first place. It’s hard for him to imagine anyone hooking up with the mall cop.

Revisado: 03-30-19
Can Micha (the bio dad) and Ben (concerned uncle) co-parent the orphaned son of Ben's sister? And can they do so without clashing or romantic entanglements? The answer is, of course, "yes" to both questions, but this is a fun trip to take with unexpected twists along the way to the HEA. Randi Johnson does a great job of narrating.
