Historia
Richard doesn’t have a past. For him, there is only the present: a new marriage to Tamara, a first chance at fatherhood to her son, Elijah, and a quiet but pleasant life as an art teacher at Elijah’s elementary school in Danvers, Virginia. Then the body of a rabbit, ritualistically murdered, appears on the school grounds with a birthday card for Richard tucked beneath it. Richard doesn’t have a birthday - but Sean does.... Sean is a five-year-old boy who has just moved to Greenfield, Virginia, with his mother.

Chalky under taste
Revisado: 06-12-21
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I’d been thinking it was about time for a good Satanic Panic thriller. I’m glad I found it. I especially loved the plethora of Rosemary’s Baby & Exorcist Easter eggs. It had kind of a chalky under taste (Rosemary’s Baby reference)

More must-read for indie authors
Revisado: 07-03-19
The authors of Write. Publish. Repeat. promise “90 percent evergreen” content and they deliver. Although this instruction/information/motivation book is a few years old now, the theme and advice are still solid. Only a small amount of information may be out of date - which could be said of an indie-pub book that’s only a year old in today’s fast-changing publishing world. I am really encouraged by their knowledge, success, and generosity to other authors who are starting or restarting their writing/publishing careers and plan to follow their advice to write, publish, and repeat. The author/narrator is fun to listen to as well! Thanks for a great resource!

Indie Author Must-Read
Revisado: 06-30-19
As a published author looking to re-launch my writing career, I find this is a short, concise guide with plenty of advice from an author successful in the field and suggestions for further resources. I think I’ll buy the print version too so I can make notes, highlight motivational sections and have the resource lists on hand. I recommend this book for anyone who is writing and prepping a book for publishing.

Historia
Leonora, known to some as Lee and others as Nora, is a reclusive crime writer, unwilling to leave her nest of an apartment unless it is absolutely necessary. When a friend she hasn't seen or spoken to in years unexpectedly invites Nora ( Lee) to a weekend away in an eerie glass house deep in the English countryside, she reluctantly agrees to make the trip. Forty-eight hours later, she wakes up in a hospital bed injured but alive, with the knowledge that someone is dead.

Loved every minute
Revisado: 08-16-15
The writing and storytelling were flawless. I loved how Ware played with memory and how easy it can be to doubt what you know or think you know. I'm a sucker for a good British accent and I'm glad the story was first person so the narrator didn't need to switch voices between characters.
