Historia
We expect our judges to be honest and wise. Their integrity and impartiality are the bedrock of the entire judicial system. We trust them to ensure fair trials, to protect the rights of all litigants, to punish those who do wrong, and to oversee the orderly and efficient flow of justice. But what happens when a judge bends the law or takes a bribe? It’s rare, but it happens. Lacy Stoltz is an investigator for the Florida Board on Judicial Conduct. She is a lawyer, not a cop, and it is her job to respond to complaints dealing with judicial misconduct.

Worth the listen.
Revisado: 02-21-19
I listen to a lot of books on tape while working at my home office. This was an interesting book with a good amount of twists and turns but not so many that I could not set it down from time to time and pick up again with a feel for what was going on. I like that. As I tend to like to listen to more than one book at a time. This was a good one. The narration was a nice tone and I did not get tired of the voice. I am out of credits right now but I am considering purchasing the part 2 of this listen so I may continue. That makes this a pretty darn good listen.

Historia
When Nancy Balbirer learns her beloved eleven-year-old beagle has kidney failure, she’s devastated. She and her husband had gotten Ira as a puppy - a wedding gift to each other, and their first foray into “parenthood.” Now, her dog is terminal, her marriage is on life support, and Nancy is desperate to save them both (whether they want it or not). In a single year, she loses her two best friends, but Nancy’s life is about to take yet another unexpected turn. With humor and heart, Nancy Balbirer shares her story of relationships, loss, and canine friendship in this illuminating memoir.
