What a lovely and affirming story. It doesn’t get too deep or dramatic, but deals with some very real emotional insecurities, so is the most wonderful read for someone who just wants a good queer rom com without any experiences of homophobic characters or beatings. Also Great voice acting.

The best! humorous, silly, but still holds plot well

I was a little skeptical at the initial goofy feel to this but just couldn’t resist after seeing the cast. The production is smooth- lines are just freaking hilarious, and there is some character development and some great twists in here.

This book has traditional second book, drawing the storyline out issues, where there is a lot of angst from characters, and not just a love triangle, but romantic/power advances from like 5 different men from our young heroine. Love that she stays true to herself beyond all of this!
I still think some of the thick accents are a bit much but overall good performance.

The narrator had some kind of silly Russian accents but I enjoyed the way she read Alina and the Darkling. They both had strong personalities which came through.
The story is quick and fun and starts a fantasy world that I’m looking forward to finishing.
