Fun story, again unrealistic but a great story but more cuss words than the original

My wife and I loved the first book so much that we had pre ordered this book and I finally finished it. It is a great story and fun, there are a few spiritual implications to the core story so I don’t think it will ever become a reality but I do expect some awesome vr to come about soon. An exciting time to be alive.
Anyway, back to the review, it is a great story and keeps you entertained. Well described, etc but there is more foul language and sexuality in the book than the original (that I remember) so I would not recommend for kids under 16. Of course that is open to your discretion.

Great concept, very realistic but kinda depressing

The concept was on point and really leads you to start imagining the sky fall events all over the place, but the book is a bit depressing. Especially the ending is depressing. I can say it like this without spoiling too many secrets, the good guy wins, but there were a lot of people who left the team by the end, and it leaves you wondering for who the players are really working. It does have a lot of intrigue, and it is a spy vs spy kind of book, it was just so far from what I expected. (Forgive me for being elusive, but I don’t want to spoil anything for those who chose to read this book.)
Overall, the book is well written with many unexpected plot turns and it sounds and reads like real events, I just wish the ending was a bit happier.

Fun book, well put together, mostly

I enjoyed this book but in the beginning I got really confused because the author switches between different characters and if you are not paying close attention you can get lost figuring out who’s head you are in now. But it is a fun story.

I enjoyed the book, but I wish there was a lot more detail

It was a dent book with several twists I did not see coming but the book is lacking a lot of detail. The story is short and more fun than anything. Don’t go looking at it for any profound meanings of life or anything, just enjoy the read.
The concept is good, but if I go too far into the concept, I will reveal a twist so, I won’t. Several of the characters are 1 dimensional, and many of the are 2 dimensional at most. There isn’t much hero development but again it is just a fun book.

Outstanding conclusion to the series. I want more

Outstanding conclusion to the series, the author has clearly progressed in their story telling ability over the time it took to tell these stories.
I really enjoyed this one and want more in the series.
A good read (listen) and fun, though I am guessing it would take a lot longer for people to mutate than the author of this series.

Very enjoyable Intro to the series

I really enjoyed this book 0 intro to the series. This was a different approach introduce these types of supernatural characters. I couldn’t turn it off and can’t wait for the next book to be available in audible.

Fun and investing story, but the story tellers sound like they are talking to kids

In general, I enjoy kids stories and audio dramas, but this topic and story is not a kids story. That being said, I was surprised that at times the story tellers sound almost like they are telling a kids story. The idea is very interesting, I enjoy post-apocalyptic stories and I like the angle this story is taking. I cannot wait to hear the next story, the good news is my wife already got it for me. 😀

Good story, makes you think about the consequences of your actions

An engaging read, short but fun. Makes you contemplate what small choices have changed your life over the years. No bad language, though there was talk of a couple having sex. “She was straddling his naked body, both of them were completely spent...” but I think that was the worst of it. But I found the concept mentally stimulating. Good book

Again a fun spooky book but not for kids

Just like fade, it is a good book, well written, but gross at times and not for the “faint-hearted” tea time readers. There are curse words, there’re are graphic descriptions of gross things, there is gore. But if you can handle that, it is a fun engaging read and the story draws you in.
