this was the last in my Emmanuel Ingram list because I knew I had already DNF all of the Rose series books I tried. I was a fan of the early Valentine books but this series was full of cringe moments. it was terribly hard to get through. Even yhe best narrators in the game couldn't make me like this book.

Love Belvin & Wesleigh Siobhan golden... Of course I love the book. I hate Dawn, but mad that in my head she looks like CoCo Jones in Belair, that's a bad girl. Rayna stop running! let my bae(#2...cuz Ashton) catch you. I'm loving these back to back releases btw.

I originally read this book after exhausting all my LB options on audio. Yes, this woman made me an actual reader again because I simply could not get enough. This book was a bit different than her regular style in the fact that she built them up in the one book vs the serials.
getting to it....
I love me some TB.... Jade on the other hand, not so much. I don't like how she won at failing! she left her upper middle class house to be a hood rat and teenage baby momma, pinning her life on a dope boy, failed at that and then won by finding a professional athlete to pin her life on. She forced herself on him when he was just being a good guy helping her out. I aint saying she's a gold digger. but.... Not only that she then decides (after putting on a facade that she wants to do something with her life for herself) she just wants to be a homemaker and not go to work. She is a, manipulative liar.

**And this grievance is me being petty-- I can't stand when a man is more than 10 inches taller than his partner. it's just a waste of height and man for a 6'5" fide to be with a 5' woman.

Now I understand that Trent needs someone in his life that goes hard for him, and That's part of Jades personality, or whatever.

I'll see if I like Jade, when End zone comes to audio. I originally skipped rhat one because, Jade.

now the narration. Winston is always a solid choice. I'm pretty sure he pronounced Ragee's name wrong. that irked me.
the female narration was weird. that's all.

But overall the writing is masterful and emotion producing, I'm happy to be apart of Trents journey.

well this was different

So here's the thing this book is definitely smut. When it comes to building actual romance, it's not there. However, this is good smut.
It's kind of why choose but Hey, I chose and I choose this one and really excited about that. Cause you don't get any RHs that have favorites. like the girl has to have a favorite.
But I ike the dynamics of this book. It was very refreshing because I read a lot of reverse harems and it's all ' I'm just gonna proud these men on to my roster. And they can't be with anyone but me.' This was not that.

narration was superb 👌.

you know, I went in blind. Anything for Emmanuel <3.

From yhe start I wasn't feeling Mo, and then I knew she was crazy.

But I'm biased to any character Emmanuel does. he can do bo wrong.

I only listened this because I have exhausted Emmanuel catalog. I am so over terrible narration that Emmanuel and Wesleigh are my pallet cleansers.

It's funny that in the description it says Alexus is mixed, but the book says she's white. anyway this book is inconsistent and only worth it because of the narration.

it started off good

The development just wasn't there. There were si many opportunities not taken. And why choose am amazing male narrator such as a Winston James just to choose a terrible female reader.

this story could have been told as a short. There was not that much character development ti warrant 7 hours. And since when does Wesleigh Siobhan do clean and wholesome? this should have been under Joniece Abbott Pratt

The story line had potential

But it was just bad. the author missed so many development marks. it's like maybe this book was a class project. There was no transition. And definitely no character development, there was character change, but how did they get there ?
