love the book author forgets perks

author forgets perks even when we have to hear 20 minutes of them for long periods of time. for instance the sharing memory perks. she never uses it and keeps trying t ingredients to explain earth. yet did it at the beginning of the book to show a moon landing! guy kidnaps fried author forgets memory perks and tries to decribe criminal. over and over and over and over other perks she gives then they mysteriously venish. she has perfect memory so she can't use that as an excuse. I really really love the books

MC is actually an idiot

I find myself hoping this MC actually dies. Every other character in the book I enjoyed.

Kill the main character and continue on.

So many plot holes

Crops get 50 million for wheat every three days. Cost to replant 100k (profit 49.9 million)

All season he planted wheat at the end of the season he had 11 million left… what did he spend the 100s and 100s of million on.

House was painted. But a new top of the line barn that was sold and aka stole for the guild 50 million.

Did house paint cost 500 million? Or was the new bed 500 million?


Not much of this book makes sense if you just let ago of all the plot holes and the fact that the author can’t do basic math it’s somewhat decent.

It’s almost like the author wants the feel of progression but doesn’t know how to set goals for the MC


This was definitely a DNF and got a refund

he always acts like he's responsible for everything at the dumbest moments I find my self hoping one of his companions dies to his acting.... but it seems the author thinks something like this could actually happen and work out well

at the end of this book it's like a stray chapter that destroys everything... no reason no explanation no nothing just 14 minutes of destruction with out any reason.

it might be because something happened in her personal life but she tore down everything that had any significance in the book.

There are so many plot holes and unbelievable things in this book... are all wizard adults idiots? you stole here is the letter... I didn't write that.... don't lie to me..

next chapter.
return items to owner invocation....... but its a highschool spell.

a highschool level spell could prove his innocence...... and the teachers can't be bothered to cast it?

this is just one small example of bad writing and artificial struggle.

imagine harry potter but dumber

he's supposed to be very smart but is actually not smart. he's literally not good at anything. literally nothing at all.

every other character around himself is better in every single way. even in defense against the dark arts where harry potter is supposed to have natural talent he's sub par to others.

so basically this is a book podcast about a boy who thinks he's smart but is actually an idiot who knows literally nothing.

literally science is everything but I refuse to read a single magic book about anything because all wizards are idiots and don't know science

positive note, granger is op and can do anything on the very first try no matter what it is and can't forget a single detail about anything she's ever read. basically everything a smart harry potter should be.
