Historia
Something sinister is going on in Baronville. The rust belt town has seen four bizarre murders in the space of two weeks. Cryptic clues left at the scenes - obscure Bible verses, odd symbols - have the police stumped. Amos Decker and his FBI colleague Alex Jamison are in Baronville visiting Alex's sister and her family. It's a bleak place: a former mill and mining town with a crumbling economy and rampant opioid addiction. Decker has been there only a few hours when he stumbles on a horrific double murder scene.

Historia
Deputy Sergeant David Wolf has been waiting 16 years for today's opportunity to follow in the footsteps of his late father - to become Sheriff of Sluice County, headquartered in the small ski resort town of Rocky Points, Colorado. What he's offered, however, isn't quite what he's expecting. And for Wolf, refusing turns out to be harder, and much deadlier, than he could have anticipated.

Audio
Revisado: 01-13-19
There was something missing with the visual imagination among the characters and sense of the town. Not quite a 4 star. Good story line and more enjoyable due to the pace and narration. I will listen to more audio from this author.

Historia
A serial killer stalks women in rural Ohio. He is deranged but brilliant, known only by the grotesque nickname the media has given him - The Doll Parts Killer. The name is apt. He dismembers his victims and leaves them in garbage bags in public places. A residential neighborhood. Next to a roller rink. Behind a Burger King. The investigation is a disaster. No physical evidence. Unreliable witnesses. To make matters worse, the FBI has lost contact with the star profiler working the case.

Dead End Girl
Revisado: 11-22-18
It is hard to believe that 2 people wrote this book and it got 4 stars. I listened to the audio version and can't imagine reading the hardcover. The audio was tedious to listen to, but I started so I had to finish it (well over a month). An over kill of unnecessary metaphors that was annoying and distracting. The killer, did not bothered to listen to his part...boring and uninteresting.
