I had pre-ordered the book before it was out because I love the story and I love the performance the the voice actor does for shart. I can't even read the books he does such a good job.
I dont have any complaints with the story or the voice acting. if you have the volume at a reasonable setting then there is no yelling. the story is still funny but not as funny as the early books. I will still buy the later books because I'm invested.

The book was good in the beginning, interesting concept and I wanted to see him grow his team to defend the planet.
book 2 was okay, I felt like they derailed at some point (where exactly I cant remember) but I got through it.
this 3rd book though, this one was really hard to get through. I completely lost interest in it and finished it out of obligation. the main point of the story was lost. Everything that they have done and worked for had gone to waste!!. leveling? out the window, base building? pointless, his God powers? used them once and never again. so much time and money was placed into these games for it to not matter st the end of it!! and don't get me started on lexy. her whole character was as important as a blade of grass yet the author tried to make her important. everything was just so stupid by the end of it. thank Neptune I got the set instead of getting each one individually or I would have been pissed.
I wish I could articulate it better but I seriously put the audio book at 2.30 speed sometimes 3.0 just to get it over with.

i understand you need something to happen for each book but i feel like Jim has no time at all to develop his relationships. something is always happening that draws him away and this book is no different. i think he also should have nerfed the guy but thats my own opinion. anyone comes close to hurting my family and they would be facing injustice superman real fast

i really like the story but man that voice actor really needs to work on some of those voices.
Dannys voice always sounded like she was waiting for a monster to pop up and had to talk fast.
i was only able to get through it by ignoring the way he talked and put the actually voices in my head. the peter griffin voice for Cal was irksome

This series is one of thee best stories i have heard in audible and def a top 5!!. soundbooth had done a masterful job and i was completely engrossed in the story. I couldn't dead the books because of how well they performed and when Morgana came out i waited till the audio version came out. Only the best for this story!!
i hope another book comes out because i am in desperate need of more Boxy T Morningwood

I love the story, love the characters, book 1 was kinda cringy because it did sound like a creep was detailing woman but i sat through it. the bone i have to pick is that none of them thought to use the bones of the dinosaurs! they would make great weapons! especially the teeth! come on guys survival 101!!
