An unusual story told with sensitivity.
The main character shows that someone can do dirty work and keep his good side intact.

Historia
When Bunny, a fluffy, black-and-white sheepadoodle, was eight weeks old, her guardian Alexis presented her with an odd gift: a button programed to say “outside” when pressed. Within a few weeks, Bunny was using it all the time and Alexis, encouraged by Bunny’s progress, continued to introduce more buttons and more words . . . Three years later, Bunny can now communicate using over one hundred buttons, stringing together important, relatable, philosophical phrases such as “Love you Mom,” “Dad went poop,” and “Ugh why?”

Amazing Book
Revisado: 12-02-23
This book is so good in many ways. I have been watching clips of Bunny and family online for awhile. I have a subscription to Audible, so I used one of my credits for the book and listened immediately. I will buy hard copy as soon as I can.
I enjoyed learning how Bunny was taught to use the buttons and her progress in communication.
I loved hearing a little about Alexis’s life, and where they live. I lived nearby in Snohomish county for 26 years. Her descriptions of discovering she is “on the spectrum” verified my suspicion that I am, too. It explains a lot for looking back on my life of 72 years.
I will soon be rereading the book when I get the hardback copy.
I am so glad Alexis shared her and her dog’s stories. I hope she writes more books.

Just what is it that they don't want you to know about the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Area 51, and the mysterious “face” on Mars? In UFOs, JFK, and Elvis, Richard Belzer delivers a witty rant on some of the biggest conspiracies and cover-ups this side of Roswell. With a deft and entertaining combination of satire and in-your-face facts, Belzer challenges his audience to accept the extent of alleged government cover-ups. Finally, one lone “nut” exposes the conspiracy to keep conspiracies a dirty little secret, standing up to the shadowy forces.

Molly is getting sillier
Revisado: 03-23-23
I had bought most of this series ahead of time, or I would have given up long ago.
At the beginning of this story she decides to take her 18 month old son with her across the country on long journey by train into what she knew was going to be a dangerous situation. She had several people she could have taken care of him while she was gone.
Then in SF, she blabs to all and sundry the sensitive nature of her husband’s job there, putting other people at risk. She almost kill’s herself a few times by making stupid decisions. Of course, she is saved by ridiculous coincidences.

Historia
It's Christmastime in 1905 New York City, and for once Molly Murphy Sullivan is looking forward to the approaching holidays. She has a family of her own now: She and Daniel have a baby son, and 12-year-old Bridie is living with them as their ward. As Molly and the children listen to carolers in the street, they hear a lovely voice, the voice of an angel, and see a beggar girl huddled in a doorway, singing "Away in a Manger". Bridie is touched by the girl's ragged clothes and wants to help her out if they can.

Revisado: 03-21-23
Wish I hadn’t bought this series ahead of time. I love Bowens other books, and am disappointed with this series. I will listen to the ones I bought then remove from my library, because I won’t ever want to reread them. I had hoped Molly would grow up. I had hoped the books would not continue to have so many unrealistic rescues of the dangerous situations Molly puts herself in over and over again.
