Historia
At five and 20, Prudence Merryweather knew very well the risks a woman took by visiting a gentleman in the dead of night. But bearding the notorious Earl of Angelstone in his den was the only way to stop him from engaging her hot-headed brother in a duel. One of my favorites
Revisado: 05-26-23
This story is one of my favorites. I’ve read it in paperback and decided to get it in audiobooks. I enjoyed the performance of all the characters in the the story. I enjoyed listening to books while I drive, so I will probably listen to this one again.

Historically interesting
Revisado: 05-12-23
I found this story very interesting. It is a continuation of the book of witches, and it continues the de Claremont family history. It was a very interesting book. I enjoyed the revolutionary war history. It kind of made me feel I was there. I also enjoyed the breakdown of becoming a vampire and that growing up as a new one. I enjoyed the book very much, and I would recommend it to others.

A truly beautiful story
Revisado: 04-09-21
I enjoyed listening to this book immensely. The characters were so memorable. The 1800s were a difficult time for all women but very difficult for those of intelligence. It was wonderful to see how both the main characters overcame the challenges of their social status in that society to succeed. I will read it again and recommend it to all.
