still not as good as book one
Revisado: 03-12-22
likes the ending and the small cliff hanger here but this third piece was not as entertaining as the first 2 as it lacked the thrill of problem solving it was just a story with philosophical and political debating. an admirable train but it lost the essence of the series of Scientific problem solving. VA also was not as good as first two.

Why do we even read to kill a mocking bird?
Revisado: 02-15-21
I remember in high school we would read To Kill a Mocking Bird to dissect and understand the mentality of southern living and the racial disparities in America. But this text should be the canonical subject of analysis. The performance here is breathtaking as it is given by the original author who is a renowned orator.

A Must Read for Any Activist
Revisado: 08-27-19
I am astounded at this literature. It affirmed a great deal of my personal notions, and challenged my long held ideologies forcing me to do my favorite thing; improve. As a firm believer that with the right methods we can enact change in society, this book provides a framework and summary of how to go about the problems we face today. I am not thrilled by Kendi's narration but it isn't terrible, this listen is definitely more about the story and the narrative. I highly recommend anyone who is considering becoming an activist to read this or listen. It is worth the time to evaluate (even if you do not agree).

Historia
If you have not read anything about the Baudelaire orphans, then before you read even one more sentence, you should know this: Violet, Klaus, and Sunny are kindhearted and quick-witted, but their lives, I am sorry to say, are filled with bad luck and misery. All of the stories about these three children are unhappy and wretched, and this one may be the worst of them all.

Historia
A blueprint. A bible. What Sun Tzu’s Art of War was to ancient China, Pimp is to the streets. As real as you can get without jumping in, this is the story of Iceberg Slim’s life as he saw, felt, tasted, and smelled it. It is a trip through hell by the one man who lived to tell the tale—the dangers of jail, addiction, and death that are still all too familiar for today’s Black community. By telling the story of one man’s struggles and triumphs in an underground world, Pimp shows us the game doesn’t change; it just has a different swagger.

Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

if you want to learn what qualities it takes to i fluence masses, this is for you. This is not for the faint of heart and those who do not wish to assume power. It will however trancend your thinking in the understanding of why people act the way they do and what flaws stagnate individuals.

nice story
Revisado: 03-26-18
The only improvement I could say is how Meg's revelation could be improved.Other than that listebing to this was amazing. kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. i was yearning to know how it ended. i would have preferred it to be drawn out more and include the fight against the darkenss but the way it is written is amazing. Great listen.
