great story line as always

I love Kenya Wright books. she never dissapoints with the story line and character development. I was alittle frustrated with this audio book because there were spaces in the performance where you could tell some lines were missing. I feel like I missed parts. other than that can't wait for book 7.

Can I just say hot damn!!! ......Take the wheel. I normally always have a hard time with a book with African american characters. It's like they can never get the voice/(s) correct. But I had to try it because I had already read this book 3 times and loved it. I just prayed they didn't mess it up on audible. And sistahs "Jakobi Diem" is everything. he really made this book come alive for me. I thought it couldn't get any better but thank you I was impressed. And I can't wait to listen to all the other books in this series.

It really was a good story line, and I usually love male readers but this one........Listen I had to force myself to keep going. I needed more emotion. You can't tell the difference from female and male part; only when he states she said or makes reference to the heroine. It was bad ya'll.

I really wanted to slap the heroine in Manu instances. Her character was over the top, filled with so much self doubt. It was almost unbearable. many times caught myself screaming at her in the car. I mean I know she had father issues but dang...it was too much at times. Still I powered through and finished and I'm glad I did...when the couple got back together it was awesome...so the book redeemed itself in the end. thank you Joe Arden....I love your reading voice .

Edge of my seat

this book kept me on the edge of my seat...and the narrator was exceptional...I finished in 2 days....and that's only because I had to work...I honest don't have anything negative to say...the build up of characters and plot were all on point. ....loved it! !!!

Amazing Story

I'm not going to give away any details....sorry😃but I will say this was a must read if you enjoy LGBT. OMG so good. what did it for me was the narrator Michael Pauley..I just felt the emotion in this so much it was incredible. I'm now looking for all books narrated by him. I'm on to the 2nd book in this series....see you there!!!

Thiis book have some amazing insight about the law of attraction and how to start simple manifesting. I using the methods I have learned and have found words are truly powerful.

love that Liam is coming into his own and appears to be cable to challenge his father, can't wait for the book when Liam becomes a man in body and mind. loved it....love this series

just good .....not great

as always.....it was a bit slow to start and I was getting a little annoyed with the heroine at first....she was back and forth with her fillings for the hero and so was he for that matter....but once they got going it got better....didn't appreciate him calling her a b%#!& even in anger but she called him some names too that were not called for. they were both kind of messed up in the head. Even with all that I love this author and won't abandon her now. I await the next book patiently.
