The Kingsbridge series are amazing works. Get you completely immersed into the story. This one is not of that caliber. Bunch of sex just to spice up the book that the story is very plain. The ending was not to bad some historical fiction there. there isn’t much for suspense or any mood actually. Characters were confusing who’s who at first. It’s a mild book overall. I wouldn’t read it again or recommend it. Too long for such a plain story. The older ones were much better.

The hope was if they did not get sick, run out of money, or could avoid violent mobs, they would be fine.

Not a zombie fan

I typically don’t like books that have to do with zombies. Vampires. And other mythical stuff. But overall this book has everything. The author really captures the attention and holds you. Different characters have different personalities and I love how the characters aren’t blend
Anyways. Really enjoyed this book. Definitely would recommend. And going to get the second one
