Good plot and story, great characters.

Female narrator gasping breaths after each sentence and lisp make it hard to follow the story. I think the audio book was not edited properly or enough. Also too many stories converging at once make the story hard to follow.

American English speaker here I can understand bbc British English, unfortunately not this narrator. There were many places where I had to replay certain parts, ans still unable to understand. There’s another part where the narrator whispers like the character, good luck understanding.

If you need a good laugh, this is your book

Follow a young naive heroine, with a gift for describing her surroundings even while running for her life. Her naivety while being seduced by a man hundreds of years older will make you cringe because it feels so sick., so fast forward that part. I stopped at chapter 39, it felt like an overacted Indian soap opera. I think the author was shooting for a longer page count and lost it. Read for fun but don’t spend your credits.

Heroine with the mind of a 15 year-old

The heroine has verbal diarrhea every time she meets the hero, which makes her seem like an airhead. And want to slap her. The story is flat, no mystery, angst, or general knowledge. It will make you wonder about the inner workings of the world’s most famous amusement park. Other than that, it’s a very immature story.
