Incredible life story, amazing man
Revisado: 02-17-21
I host a classic country radio show and have had the privilege and opportunity to meet Charlie Daniels and interview him on several occasions. Hearing his story is such an emotional journey of an incredible man's life. I was captivated through every chapter and enjoyed hearing the back stories of some of the most significant parts of his life. Long live Charlie Daniels. God bless his legacy.

Historia
This is the revealing portrait of a prolific singer, songwriter, and performer of country music. Mega country music hits like "City Lights" (Ray Price), "Tips of My Fingers" (Roy Clark, Eddy Arnold, Steve Wariner), "Once a Day" (Connie Smith), "Saginaw, Michigan" (Lefty Frizzell), and many more flowed from his pen, making him one of the most decorated songwriters in music history. Then he came to a point in his career when he questioned if what he had to say mattered anymore. Music Row had changed.

Master Craftsman of a Classic Country Life
Revisado: 06-03-20
to listen to Bill Anderson tell his life story in his own words made for an enjoyable retrospective of an amazing life. I knew parts of several of his stories, but to hear the complete version of each was thoroughly entertaining. Bill is a shining example of perseverance and success. his gift of songwriting will be a legacy left for many generations.
