Historia
It turns out giving up your "right" to be offended can be one of the most freeing, healthy, simplifying, relaxing, refreshing, stress-relieving, encouraging things you can do. It's a radical, provocative idea: We're not entitled to get offended or stay angry. The idea of our own "righteous anger" is a myth. It is the number one problem in our societies today and, as Dallas Willard says, Christians have not been taught out of it. But what if Christians were the most unoffendable people on the planet?

Righteous anger is really not biblical!
Revisado: 03-05-25
The book gave me a lot to think about! Anger is not ok! Very honest and transparent!

Horror of war, will to survive
Revisado: 12-01-24
I listened to all three books in the series. Some of it hard to listen to because it’s difficult to realize how cruel people can be to one another

Women can be heroes. When twenty-year-old nursing student Frances “Frankie” McGrath hears these words, it is a revelation. Raised in the sun-drenched, idyllic world of Southern California and sheltered by her conservative parents, she has always prided herself on doing the right thing. But in 1965, the world is changing, and she suddenly dares to imagine a different future for herself. When her brother ships out to serve in Vietnam, she joins the Army Nurse Corps and follows his path.

Vietnam. History
Revisado: 03-09-24
I was in high school during much of the war. Very naive. I just retired from nursing. Thank you for the history!

Historia
In late March 1944, as Stalin’s forces push into Ukraine, young Emil and Adeline Martel must make a terrible decision: Do they wait for the Soviet bear’s intrusion and risk being sent to Siberia? Or do they reluctantly follow the wolves - murderous Nazi officers who have pledged to protect “pure-blood” Germans? The Martels are one of many families of German heritage whose ancestors have farmed in Ukraine for more than a century.

Amazing story
Revisado: 02-05-22
This is an amazing story. I often think I cannot imagine how people survived the things they did in this time period. These people help me to have hope and keep perspective. We all live in the time that God has for us. For such a time as this! Well done thou good and faithful servant. Thank you for this gift Mark. And the Martel family
