Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

F**king Fantastic
Revisado: 01-11-19
David Goggins is a beast, and his story inspires me to push harder , smarter & with less fluff and excuses. I'm a better man now that I've read this, and look forward to putting it's teachings to practice. also, he's very profane, which is appropriate... because he's a Navy seal, and that's generally how soldiers talk. if you're offended by hardened language, maybe read the cliff notes instead.but if you're ready to get after it, and like a no BS communication style- this is a book for you .

Historia
Born to survivalists in the mountains of Idaho, Tara Westover was seventeen the first time she set foot in a classroom. Her family was so isolated from mainstream society that there was no one to ensure the children received an education, and no one to intervene when one of Tara’s older brothers became violent. When another brother got himself into college, Tara decided to try a new kind of life. Her quest for knowledge transformed her, taking her over oceans and across continents, to Harvard and to Cambridge University.
