Another great book in this series

I love this series The immortal vices and virtues series has been surprisingly pretty great. I like that it's all one universe with multiple authors and different POVs from different territories in that same universe.

It's great to get to hear Corvin's story after meeting him briefly in Bury Me. This book has so much going on there was barely a dull moment.

My only issues was the few glitches in Chapter 30 I hope that gets fixed soon.

Not a bad story

John Solo did great reading this book as Always. It had a pretty cool storyline I liked the concept of true pairings and the glimpses of past lives we got to see. I think Brice should have went further into why they seemed to be cursed . It seems to me like this storyline was rushed when it truly had so much potential to be great instead of just good

I usually like this authors books but this one seemed rushed and not well written. It's just another shifter book with a similar storyline to most other shifter books.

It wasn't really spicy, barely any suspense. It isn't a horrible book or anything and the narrator did fine. It just seemed like something I had already heard before many times.

So dark yet so good

I like most dark romances but even this one has a few scenes where I had to remind myself it was just a book. Remembering that let me embrace the darkness and ainqm glad ai did it was a truly great book with Lots of twist and turns.

Something completely different than the traditional enemies to lovers trope That made it so enthralling.

Great narration too. Really did well with portraying the characters and their emotions

Wrong Narrator for the story

It wasn't a bad story, but the narrator didn't fit with a supposed dark story. A high, overly cheerful voice just doesn't fit. I couldn't get into it enough to finish it

such a beautifully heart wrenching story

first let me say that the narration was top notch on this one. this book is very well written with so many ups and downs. Yet it was also full of hope which is exceptional when writing a love story with so many ups and downs.

Highly Recommend this must read/Listen you will not regret it

but not so great listen. Tristan James isn't a terrible narrator overall but he was a terrible fit for this book
These main characters have such big personalities, that T. James could not portray well at all. Honestly James wasn't a good fit for this series but this book made it extremely clear
