Didn’t expect to cry at the end of one of these but it’s so heart grabbing. Great narration as always!

Terrible male narrator
Revisado: 02-24-25
I can’t believe this was the pick for the male narrator. I can’t imagine any girl, not to mention a supermodel would be attracted to a voice like that. It was terrible and pretty much ruined the story. Jorjeana did a great job on Anneka and her version of Jonah was good, wish she could have been the sole narrator.
Otherwise, the story was just kind of so so, not as good as the first book. I skipped over a good bit at the end because it got pretty boring.

What a sweet story. Interesting plot, the ending had a cute surprise but it was clear there would be a HEA. Something fun to clear the palette from heavier novels.

Revisado: 02-15-25
I love every one of Melissa’s books and usually finish them a day or two after the release! Her storytelling is charming, laugh out loud humorous and emotionally fulfilling. The plot line on this one is so unique and I was drawn in immediately.
Equally well done was the performance, this narrator had a perfect delivery and was enjoyable to listen to.

Historia
At birth, Violet and Rose Flowers were identical, save for a tiny bluish-purple mark gracing Violet’s slender neck. By nineteen, their temperaments distinguish them, as different as the flowers their mother named them for—Violet, wild and outgoing, and Rose, solitary and reserved. Still, they are each other’s world. Then, on a sweltering, terrible August night in 1928, an explosion rocks Lamb’s Dance Hall in Possum Flats, Missouri, engulfing it in flames, leaving one twin among the dozens dead, and her sister’s life forever changed.

Worth a credit but so many weird things
Revisado: 01-18-25
First I absolutely hated the Dash Character. I guess we are supposed to, so the author did a good job on that. The deaths the night of the explosion were beyond gruesome and shocking. The stories were interesting but pretty devastating. Kept me entertained though. The ending was beyond corny but oh well.

A bunch of whining
Revisado: 12-16-24
I really liked the other books in this series but this one felt like the author wanted to get in every last thought on social issues she could and frankly it was not only boring and inane but downright annoying. I skipped over at least half of it because it was either women whining about being women or social commentary. I would have stopped altogether but I wanted to find out what happened to Ralph. The ending felt rushed and wrapped up in a neat little bow and I wish I had not wasted a credit on it.

Intriguing story
Revisado: 10-12-24
I put off buying this title for a long time because the description and reviews didn’t really appeal to me but I’m so
Glad I finally decided to listen. Rhys Bowen is a talented author and all of her stories are unique and take me on a journey! The storyline in this one is far more interesting than the description so take a chance! I do have say one thing, I didn’t like the male voice for Sofia, it was pretty annoying but the story was good enough for me to stick with it.

Historia
Ali Morris is a professional organizer whose own life is a mess. Her mom died two years ago, then her husband left, and she hasn’t worn pants with a zipper in longer than she cares to remember. No one is more surprised than Ali when the first time she takes off her wedding ring and puts on pants with hardware—overalls count, right?—she meets someone. Or rather, her dog claims a man for her, in the same way he claimed his favorite of her three children: by peeing on him. Ethan smiles at Ali like her pants are just right—like he likes what he sees.
