I kept waiting for it to get good

While the narration is top notch, the story is quite dull. I hung in there till the bitter end hoping it would get good, but alas, no.

Cringeworthy

If you took Wheel of Time, A Song of Ice and Fire, Dune and The Emberverse series, and ground it all into a sticky paste, then spread it thinly over a cracker, this is what you'd get. The only redeeming thing is Reading and Kramer and how awesome they are at narrating. Otherwise it's a cringeworthy rip off of the classics that I struggled to get through.

These books make me so happy

I'm so glad I dove into this series, it really makes me happy. It's an easy and entertaining story to listen to, that keeps you engaged all the way through. I am always surprised when I get to the end, where did the time go? Pirate Aba is like the 'Gorillaz' of literature and I love her for that. Oh and Andrea Parseneu is the most incredible narrator I've ever heard, the woman is a genius.

The Bob books are so good, each and every one of them. Dennis Taylor is officially my new favorite author along with Donald Adams and Robert Jordan. He understands his subject material so well, and the concepts he puts across are truly mind blowing. I can't wait for the next one.

Wonderful narrating, heartfelt story. Worth it

A very sweet and heartfelt story line. The author has made a great effort to create arcs for the characters that you can totally get into. Naramore is absolutely amazing. Totally worth the 80+ hours of your life.
