All my Goodreads friends gave this 5⭐️ and I totally see why! I loved the storyline and liked the narration. These narrators do a lot of biblical fiction so sometimes it feels like the same story, but this unique plot was so different that I was definitely immersed and engaged!!

Great narrator! Although there were many POVs that got kind of confusing, I appreciated that we got so many in-depth character studies from them. Ready for book 2 and more of Hezekiah!

This was so captivating. The Deaf culture/history stuff I knew from studying ASL in college, but I was captivated by DiMarco’s personal story with his family, his education, and the shows he was in. The collaboration with his co-author was spectacular and the audiobook narrator was a perfect pick. There were a few moments that were too much detail about the shows for me, but other than that- great!

Fast-paced with characters you want to root for. Beautiful character arcs. Themes of forgiveness, family, and bravery.
I think I’ve listened to too many biblical fiction books by this author so they’re kind of blending together 🥲

I first read this powerful story in 2021 when it was first published, for a biblical fiction book club (@biblicalfictionbuffs on Instagram). I loved it and was highly impressed by this debut! Beautifully written with a key for historical detail.
I am a voracious audiobook listener and was so so happy to know that RAIN became an audiobook! The narrator is dramatic and clear, making the words on the page into real declarations. Some of the female voices were a little cringy though, but nothing big.
Overall a fantastic read and I highly recommend continuing to read the sequel- Whirlwind!

So good! CS Lewis is a master storyteller and there were so many beautiful truths and quotes in this series. Each narrator did an amazing job! It all flowed so seamlessly to the next book without feeling disjointed by the last narrator. Definitely recommend!!

54321- Just buy it, read it, and do it! I was so glad that I purchased the audiobook. Mel Robbins is a great conversationalist and truly seems to care about helping others move forward. I already suggested this book to others. Not only does Robbins help with getting out of bed (such a daunting task for many), she helps with practical tips such as, turning anxiety into excitement, doubting into action, drowning into swimming, and more. Seriously, one of the best investments I made.
