Good story, no passion but still a bit steamy if you count those biscuits! Got the kindle copy to read with the narration and found the audible version missed the mark in a few instances. The meaning of 3 statements in the story were totally missread. Lack of inflection, caused a degree of confusion as to whether the statement was a question or not. The text indicated a question. She then seemed tired of switching voices and became straight monotone.

Most Enjoyable Listen!

Aphrodite and the Duke included all aspects of a good read/listen for me. These are intrigue, drama, humor, villains, heroes and heroines, love and good sex. This is a must listen for all who love this historical period. The narration was superb, absolutely no complaints! Make this story your next listen.

Whiskey Row!

Most enjoyable book in the series. This instalment to the Whiskey Row Saga capped it well. There was something for all tastes, just enough romance, sex, family, violence, blood, gore and laughter, to satisfy us all! I cannot wait to see what is to come for the residents of Whiskey Row. Thanks to the author and the performance of both narrators, job well done! I recommend the entire series as a must read.

A True Struggle

Audible owes me 1 point! This was a true struggle as the narrators were the worst I have ever listened to. Mr. Collins sounded like an older actor, who had too many lozenges in his mouth and had smoked way too many cigarettes, auditioning for a Shakespearean play! He was totally unbelievable as a ruthless powerful gangster kingpin. He was the better and most tolerable narrator. Ms. Cochrane was slow, unsure, monotonous, tiring and boring as she narrated her parts of the story from a barrel or more likely her bathtub. Ms. Wright's story suffered due to their poor performances. I gave an overall grade of 3 stars out of respect for Ms. Wright and her pure talent! This would be a better read than listen!

Everywhere!

This story was everywhere! While the story remained intriguing, I failed to see the author's apparent need to draw so many subs stories into the one. The narration was excellent by both. There was no let down between the male and female exchanges. Of course, I'm committed to completing this series, it is one of the best I have ever read. This is a must read for anyone seeking to loose themselves in romance, intrigue, violence and the 'bad boy biker' life. Enjoy!

Ravenswood, the Place to Be!

Great series and very well written. This instalment capped off this emotional and erotic series. The story was different, refreshing. The narrator's performance was flawless. I would recommend this series to all my friends and to readers who enjoy serious topics, and mystery with a little erotica. Thank you, Ms. Hibbert.

I absolutely loved this book. Chocked full of intrigue, violence, and great sex!! Great story and little to no grammatical or spelling errors. Make sure you read every book in this series so nothing is missed. Thank you, Ms. Kendric, Mr. Salinas and Ms. Laurel for a 'fantabulous' presentation. Waiting for the next instalment!

Freaking Awesome!

Loved this book and the series so far! Every part was good and flowed together. I almost passed out when Aaron was down but great writing kept me in it and hooked until the end. Great writing Ms. Kendric! Great narrating! Cannot wait until I can read 4, 5, and 6! You will love this action packed "twisted" series!
