Historia
Freak. Witch. Crazy. Schizo. Ember Brycin has been called them all. She's always known she's different. No one has ever called her normal, even under the best circumstances. Bizarre and inexplicable things continually happen to her, and having two different colored eyes, strange hair, and an unusual tattoo only contributes to the gossip about her. When the latest school explosion lands her in a facility for trouble teens, she meets Eli Dragen, who's hot as hell and darkly mysterious.

Historia
Eric didn't ask to be a vampire. In fact he didn't even believe in them. Biting your own tongue with your fangs does a lot of convincing. Even so, being a part-time undead isn't as easy as you might think. It can let you hold down a day job, true, but sometimes the night "life" can be more than a little difficult, what with those bloodthirsty urges and predatory instincts kicking in.

Back for round two 😆!
Revisado: 05-26-22
I listened to this book two years ago and loved it. I'm going through the whole series again. These books are very long like 40 hours for some. They're funny and action packed. Then it gets real with emotional roller-coasters😅. Try it out, you won't regret it😉.

Historia
You'd think that life would be easy-breezy for a handsome, demonic badass like me, but you'd be wrong. The demon doesn't help me with rent, doesn't help me pick up chicks or anything fun like that. Instead, he's all about violence. So, when this super-powered necromancer shows up in town and starts emptying the city's graveyards, my buddy Gadreel thinks it's go time. Before the Veiled Order knows it, a war is about to break out between the living and the dead.

Meant for a much younger crowd.
Revisado: 09-26-21
The main character does express his feelings repeatedly and acts like a hot headed teenager, not a sufesticated 20 something year old with a masters degree in Arts and a taste for classical music. Couldn't keep my interest. The story had so much potential but the main character kept ruining the book for me.
Maybe if I read this book as a middle or high schooler I would have loved it.

Historia
Afterlife...just some gothic nightclub where gossip is fuelled by the presence of a rich and unearthly, handsome family or afterlife...the strange place where time seems to stand still and guests feel the presence of something more powerful held within the confines of the VIP. Keira is new to this small, cold town and is running from a past that seems to feast on her darkest memories. She finds living with her sister away from English soil to be just the ticket to the new life she is trying desperately to find.

Main character is weak, book unnecessarily long!
Revisado: 09-04-21
The main character is so wimpy (cries too much and can't fight for her life), obsessive and so much just goes over her head. The story didn't reveal much in like 20 hours! Am not getting the next book.
