this is a very good listen ..from the narrator to the wonderful ideas that Obama has in store for the upcoming years in office. Even if you did not vote for Obama I would definetly suggest this book to anyone that wants a brief outline of what change is about to take place. If your wealthy you might find his mission hard to swallow but I'm sure the majority of people that land on this page are not wealthy.

Historia
In the 1970s, Frank Lucas was the king of the Harlem drug trade, bringing in over a million dollars a day. He lived a glamorous life, hobnobbing with athletes, musicians, and politicians, but Lucas was a ruthless gangster. He was notorious for using the coffins of dead GIs to smuggle heroin into the United States, and, before being sentenced to 70 years in prison, he played a major role in the near death of New York City.

Behind the Scenes
Revisado: 11-13-08
I loved the vocal delivery that the narrator injected into the reading of this book. The book should’ve been entitled "American Gangster - behind the scenes". I think it was very interesting on how he explained on how the movie came about and how the actual person felt about it (Frank Lucas). It could've been more detailed but since I saw the movie it gave me a few bits and pieces that were missing from the actual movie. If you liked the movie I would definitely recommend to this book.

very funny

the usual political antics of mike strikes again...I doubt this book helped Obama get Elected but it is definetely a serious or should I say seriously funny listen. He speaks without biting his tongue and I appluad him for that. How soon we forget about all those weapons of mass destruction huh..kind of makes you wonder will George W. Bush will ever be held accountable for his lies. Mike's attack on Bush and Mccain serves as a first round knock out! but I think america will love this book regardless of what party one belongs to.
