As with the first book, awful writing. Atrocious character development and believability. Cringey dialogue to near unsustainable levels.
Absolutely glorious trash. Truly a masterpiece to the self-loathing fantasy reader.

The writing is bland and leaves a lot to be desired. The main character does ridiculous things for nonsensical reasons and it just magically works out. It’s plot armor to the extreme. The main character suffers no setbacks, no breaks in his arc of revenge. Everything falls into place in such glaringly problematic ways.
It’s complete trash.
It’s exactly my kind of trash and I finished it in record time.
