Horrible narration

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

No, I didn't listen to the entire book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

i think my favorite may have been Nori Blackmon

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The female narrator attempted to do the male portion of the book in a male voice which detracted from the entire book.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

A narrator who didn't try to narrate each part as that particular gender.

Any additional comments?

If it's a female narrator, she shouldn't attempt to sound like a man. She missed it totally. It would have been better to do the entire book using the female voice and end the male part with "he said. I hated it. This has a good storyline, but the narrator ruined it for me.

I would not recommend this book to a friend because it's poorly written. I was not happy also with the story line nor the narrator.

Has Rescued by the Billionaire turned you off from other books in this genre?

I'm not entirely turned off by these kind of stories. But I didn't like the women for sale as though they were slaves.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narrator could have enunciated better.

Do you think Rescued by the Billionaire needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

There's no need for a follow-up book to this.

What did you like best about Perfecting the Saints: Bible Study and Commentary on the Book of James? What did you like least?

The best thing about the book was the title and the scripture.

What other book might you compare Perfecting the Saints: Bible Study and Commentary on the Book of James to and why?

If it's about content, I would compare it to "The First Corinthian Church.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator read the script like a person just learning to read. This could have been such a good Bible Study book if they had chosen a reader who made it come alive.

Was Perfecting the Saints: Bible Study and Commentary on the Book of James worth the listening time?

The Bible and study materials are always worth the listening time. I ordered one and two, but was only able to endure the first.

I wish I could get my money back from this purchase. But it serves me right for not listening to a sample before buying.

Where does His Forever Family rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I rate it #1 in the romance category. The narrators are integral when I'm listening to an audio book. Will Damron and Adenrele Ojo made this book come alive for me. The story line was great. I was envisioning these two people while I listened to the audio.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the ease with which the two characters interacted with each other. I also liked the slow build up to their romance.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when he took her shopping to go with him to the wedding.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened to the entire story in one sitting. I actually took it with me on my 4 mile walk and finished listening to the rest of it when I got back home. The best thing about listening to an audio book is that there's no need to stop what I'm doing to enjoy a good book.

I will definitely be on the look out for more books written by Sarah M. Anderson and or Brenda Jackson in the future.

Great Story, terrible narrator.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I like the title and the story. But I could not stand to listen to Jeff Walden's narration. He read in a monotone voice without any emotion. When listening, I had to turn the volume all the way up to hear him. This narrator read the story without any emotion or animation. I was only able to listen to a part of it. I wish they would release it again with a different narrator.

What other book might you compare Billionaire's Baby Deception to and why?

In content I would compare it to My forever Family. But because of the narrator, it was not an enjoyable experience.

Would you be willing to try another one of Jeff Werden’s performances?

Yes, but I will check to make sure that Jeff Walden is not the narrator.

Could you see Billionaire's Baby Deception being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Don't think so.

Hey, Mia Caldwell, you write good books. Why don't you pay a person who is skilled in reading scripts and making them sound interesting to narrate them for you?
