Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Historia
Back in the fall of 2016, before casting her vote for Hillary Clinton, Adrienne Martini, a knitter, a runner, a mom, and a resident of rural Otsego County in snowy upstate New York, knew who her senators were, wasn’t too sure who her Congressman was, and had only vague inklings about who her state reps were. And after the 2017 presidential inauguration, she reached out to Dave, a friend of a friend, who was involved in the Otsego County Democratic Party. Maybe she could help out with phone calls or fundraising? But Dave’s idea was: she should run for office. Someone had to do it.

Inspiring! Funny! Easy Read!
Revisado: 03-21-20
I loved reading about how a "regular person", frustrated by the turn of events, took it upon herself to take action. I loved hearing about her experience - in a real person's terms, and how local government affects people's lives. And it's written with humor. Great read, inspiring, easy to read, and inspiring.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

I couldn’t put it down
Revisado: 01-31-19
Honestly, I purchase audiobooks to listen to whilst running. And my rule is that I ONLY listen to a good book whilst running. It gives me something to look forward to and it makes the run special.
I broke my own rule with this book. I almost took time off work to keep listening to it. I just couldn’t stop.
One of the best stories I’ve listened to - ever.
