Incredibly informative.

heard it over & over and every time learned something new. I'm a retired 68 years old ecologist/biologist, who has never stopped studying science. A Brief History of Almost Everything gives me information on many study subjects to pursue further studying.

Historia
Two of the boldest and most creative scientists of all time were Michael Faraday (1791-1867) and James Clerk Maxwell (1831-1879). This is the story of how these two men - separated in age by 40 years - discovered the existence of the electromagnetic field and devised a radically new theory which overturned the strictly mechanical view of the world that had prevailed since Newton's time.

Mandatory knowledge for any thinking person.

In a clear narration, the author reveals the way politics have deteriorated towards stupidity. if it was not so dangerous, it would be the best comedy of all times.

One of the best books on science.

I hear it over and over at night, awake and asleep, and every time I learn something new. Concepts are described and explained in a clear and simple way, while still affirming the complexity of nature. The more I hear it, the more I enjoy it.
