Long book but great narration. After gutwrenching first chapter, it hooks you and gets better and keeps you engaged. it gives you perspective and I could relate to all the characters. You can laugh through brief humor and tear up in the same breath. The narration was spot on.

Interesting book but it's no Atlas Shrugged. The background is set well, but you keep waiting for the plot...or hope. Then boom, tragedy in the midst of the already grim dystopia. Then a short-lived, depressing struggle, still waiting for a climax or a hero or hope. Then, the story is over in a chapter, with no happy ending or silver lining. You think there's one chapter left, but it's just the appendix.

Good but unnecessarily detailed

Great reading but pretty complicated in parts and meandering. Since some areas were redundant or out of chronological order, it made the book a difficult "read." However, very interesting and I came away inspired and learned a lot! I highly recommend!
