Historia
On a brisk autumn day, a 13-year-old boy stands on the shores of the gray Atlantic, near a silent amusement park and a fading ocean resort called the Alhambra. The past has driven Jack Sawyer here: His father is gone, his mother is dying, and the world no longer makes sense. But for Jack everything is about to change. For he has been chosen to make a journey back across America - and into another realm. One of the most influential and heralded works of fantasy ever written, The Talisman is an extraordinary novel of loyalty, awakening, terror, and mystery.

Brilliant as always
Revisado: 08-01-22
I decided to read this after its shout out in Stranger Things. Though it was quite lengthy, I still held onto every word. My only warning is some of the material is difficult to cope with since it's happening to a 12 year old boy.

Even better than the first
Revisado: 05-23-22
It's rare to enjoy the second in a series more than the first, but that was the case here. We have already fallen in love with characters by this book, which made the relationship building all the more effective. Now, if the spotlight couple do not get together, I might just be heartbroken. I'll probably download the next in the series by tomorrow.

Historia
An 11-year-old boy's violated corpse is found in a town park. Eyewitnesses and fingerprints point unmistakably to one of Flint City's most popular citizens. He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

Stephen king weird meets detective novel
Revisado: 07-06-18
Though this is not the scariest novel King has written, it is extremely good! This is a good read if you are looking for a mystery with a good side of weird!

A more realistic and mature Harry Potter.

I'm new to both the author and the series, and I absolutely loved this first installment! I sit in front of a microscope all day, so it was nice to get completely lost in the story. I would say that the length did not match the price well though. However, this series is on sale now, so definitely worth the sale price!
