Historia
When a high-ranking officer gallops into the quiet Mistyvales, he brings a warning that shakes the countryfolk to their roots. But for Aedan, a scruffy young adventurer with veins full of fire and a head full of ideas, this officer is not what he seems. The events that follow propel Aedan on a journey that only the foolhardy or desperate would risk, leading him to the gates of the nation's royal academy - a whole world of secrets in itself. But this is only the beginning of his discoveries.

Great Story, love the character development
Revisado: 05-05-16
Would you listen to Dawn of Wonder again? Why?
I particularly want my sons to read this book, I feel like the characters learn important lessons, and Tim Gerard Reynolds was, as usual perfect.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Dawn of Wonder?
When the protagonist learns he can let go of his hate
Which scene was your favorite?
I really enjoyed the part where they help a couple who has been mistreated to succeed.
Any additional comments?
I particularly love the fact that when the main character has a problem, or faces a bully- he goes to a trusted adult to discuss the problem, and uses their advice to come to a solution. I love that he isn't the smartest, or the fastest, or the strongest- just clever and determined. I particularly loved that the character has such growth, and learns so much!

Wonderful heartfelt story really makes you feel the history and have hope for the future at the same time
Revisado: 12-03-15
I loved this story, and can't say enough positive about the storyline....however I will caution you that this book has a significant amount of profanity including numerous words beginning with F. Not for the gentle reader.

Historia
It's been almost a year since 18-year-old Ella Rodriguez was in a car accident that left her crippled, scarred, and without a mother. After a very difficult recovery, she's been uprooted across the country and forced into the custody of a father that abandoned her when she was a young child. If Ella wants to escape her father's home, and her awful new stepfamily, she must convince her doctors that she's capable, both physically and emotionally, of living on her own.

Good story, great characters
Revisado: 11-22-15
I really enjoyed the story and the characters! Ella's character development in particular was really fabulously well done. I didn't enjoy the profanity or the numerous references to casual and meaningless sex- but I get that she was trying to portray that world realistically. AMAZING Performance by the reader

It's been three months since the Winterians were freed and Spring's king, Angra, disappeared - thanks largely to the help of Cordell. Meira just wants her people to be safe. When Cordellan debt forces the Winterians to dig their mines for payment, they unearth something powerful and possibly dangerous: Primoria's lost chasm of magic. Theron sees this find as an opportunity - with this much magic, the world can finally stand against threats like Angra.

A great listen
Revisado: 11-12-15
I really enjoyed the narrators, and enjoyed having a different voice for girls vs boys. I loved that Sarah Raasch gave Mather a voice in this book! It was a completely depressing story though- no one gets any happiness at all: I know it's a 2nd book, and we are establishing the center of a story; but I hate to listen to a book where I feel depressed the entire time. She doesn't take away the HOPE that things will get better and it's still a great read, but please PLEASE give these wonderful characters some chance at happiness? Even one of them?
