Historia
It's been seven months since Chris Gordon met Tanya Demidova, and a lot has changed. He's stronger and faster and has the senses of a vampire and the appetite of a werewolf. But even as he settles into his new position with the Special Situations Squad and his relationship with Tanya, new threats appear. From south of the border, north of the city, inside the NYPD, and the federal government. But the hardest fight Chris will face is with himself.

inflections ruined the performance.
Revisado: 05-16-16
the reader ended every neutral statement by the main character with an inflection making it sound like a question or whiney. the main character is a bad ass but this reader makes him speaks like an unsure whiner. kind of kills the mood of the book.

Historia
Having two of his fingers cut off at an early age hadn't done much to make Xandrith an agreeable fellow. Besides marking him as a pariah and having him shunned by even his own family, it had also hurt. A lot. Being stripped of a few of his fingers and cast out of the Order of Mages had left him bitter and angry, but if there was any consolation to be had it was that he was doing rather well in his new line of work. While perforating people for money might not have been the most noble of callings, it was quite lucrative.

terrible performance for the first 2/3 but it got better towards the end. narrator needs to work on his craft before i will consider purchasing more of his work.
