Seven chapters in and this book is obviously a 12 hour Ad for Star Wars Land. I’ve never had a Star Wars book start developing the story so slowly while detailing all the attractions you can visit in Star Wars Land. From advertising the clothing and trinket sales, to detailing the Disney Parks food and the Cantina this is such a boring book. I get they are wanting to do a cross over promotion for Star Wars Land to provide more of an adventurous feeling when you visit Disney, but this book is bordering on ridiculous. Is not written like any other Star Wars novel I’ve ever read or listened to. It feels like a pure Disney money grab. This one is getting returned for a refund.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
There are some good points in the program.

Any additional comments?
This is the second book from the Welch's that I've read. There are some gems in the content that really apply to business. However, Jack has a massive ivory tower syndrome. A lot of this would never apply to small business. For those in the corporate world, more of this would apply but it would do little to create a good culture of support and teamwork in an organization. In an "every man for himself" company culture such as the one Jack created at GE, this may work well.

Would you try another book from the authors and/or the narrators?

No.

Would you ever listen to anything by the authors again?

No.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from You Have Infinite Power?

80% of it.

Any additional comments?

This was really rehashed motivational information. Nothing really new here, just applied to the authors personal experiences.

I was excited to listen to this course to begin with. However, when the government created food pyramid was referenced as a good starting point to learn nutrition I knew it wasn't worth the time investment to continue listening to. They pyramid that is out of balance with too many grains and way too much sugar according to non-special interest groups. So why invest 14 hours listening.

What disappointed you about METAtropolis?

The story was so slow and boring the first two chapters that I couldn't waste anymore time listening to the rest of the book.

Has METAtropolis turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

How could the performance have been better?

Faster storyline, better reading.
