Good book. it drags at times.
Revisado: 06-16-19
I liked this book. It was Intelligent and sincere.
I normally don't read Science Fiction so, my review isn't that valuable.
It did drag at times. Also it seemed to pack a whole lot of Scifi right near the end as though the author felt like she needed to.
I do recommend it. The setting of Communist China is unique and substantial.
The characters feel real. High praise on that point.

Historia
An Antarctic research team discovers a perfectly machined gold canister, 2500 feet below the surface of the ice. There are strange and unrecognizable markings on the canister. How did it get there, and where did it come from? It is sent back to a research center in the US where it is opened in an environmentally controlled room. Inside are six human embryos, and even more shocking is the discovery that the embryos are viable.

Good concept poorly executed.
Revisado: 10-02-17
I thought the concept was good and the story had some good turns, but the way the story was told, it made it predicable. This would be a good book for younger or less experienced readers.

Good world building with a corny story.
Revisado: 06-29-17
This book stated off really well. Good world building and a good element of mystery.
Without getting into spoilers, the story went off the rails and became very corny and predicable.
