1692. On the outskirts of Salem, a bookstore stands covered in overgrown vines. Inside, a young woman hides a linen-wrapped journal under a loose floorboard and runs away, panicked by the sound of hounds barking in the distance. The bookstore vanishes into thin air…

Some points were a loosely added in it felt like, but overall it is a great read. Hoping there will be more since it had an epilogue?

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Interesting
Revisado: 07-26-23
I love following the royals and their history, especially hearing it (literally in this audible) from their point of view. Harry really brought this all to life by reading it himself. It seemed more believable with him speaking his own words.
But you have to take everything with a grain of salt. I’m not a big fan of him since his wife joined the picture only because he seems to be more whiny and in the spotlight in all the wrong ways. This book gives a more clarifying light (in his view) to a lot of the tabloids seen over the years, which is nice, especially since tabloids are the worst to the royals. It would be nice if the other points of views would be published in a similar fashion in the future.

Ending was “meh”
Revisado: 07-26-23
Decent enough story, felt like a lot of holes were there and could’ve expanded on details and the storyline more. The ending just ended… really unexpectedly.
The main character is an adult, but is so naive and doesn’t question people enough, especially in regards to his own parents and his upbringing. Then the female characters are also lacking depth and maturity for their ages.
This seemed like one of those books that had great potential, but was rushed to get a draft published and left out key chapters. The author missed out on really making this a competitive book. More than likely won’t return for the next book in the series.

Classic listen

Love most of the stories, brings back memories watching these episodes on TV. Some of the episodes need better editing due to repeated portions overlapping like a scratched CD.
