Historia
Nephi puts us on notice in his very first sentence that The Book of Mormon was written by temple worshippers and for temple worshippers. He and the other prophets of The Book of Mormon, who called themselves the visionary men and the peaceable followers of Christ, knew and practiced a mystery, an ordinance by which they ascended through the temple and entered into the presence of God. This ordinance was embodied in a dramatic representation of the expulsion of Adam and Eve from Eden and their return to it, in which initiates played the roles of Adam and Eve or their descendants.

The book really make you think about the deeper meaning to the worship of Jesus Christ and our symbols and sacred ceremonies. Love the scripture context and the appendix.

Richard Bushman, an esteemed cultural historian and a practicing Mormon, moves beyond the popular stereotype of Smith as a colorful fraud to explore his personality, his relationships with others, and how he received revelations.

He does an excellent job of explaining everything even the parts that may be hard to hear. Joseph Smith was an imperfect man but all prophets except Jesus Christ were.

Historia
The benefits of restrictive diets like paleo and keto have been touted for more than a decade, but as renowned gastroenterologist Dr. Will Bulsiewicz, or "Dr. B", illuminates in this groundbreaking audiobook, the explosion of studies on the microbiome makes it abundantly clear that elimination diets are in fact hazardous to our health. What studies clearly now show - and what Dr. B preaches with his patients - is that gut health is the key to boosting our metabolism, balancing our hormones, and taming the inflammation that causes a host of diseases.

Insightful book
Revisado: 02-10-22
I thought the book gave great next level descriptions of how wealth is a mindset. Continual learning is a necessity. That it is the daily decisions we make that keep people from improving their personal balance sheet and moving beyond their position in life.
While reading this book you must have fortitude because Robert tends to paint the painful reality with only glimmers of hope.
He degrades the millionaire next door mentality but really only in the aspect of being frugal to “save” in that savings in a bank and potentially the stock market are not hedges for inflation. One must set aside money to invest, being frugal or at least intentional about your spending and investing will get you to the point your balance sheet will enable a bank to help you invest. Great book.

Historia
The ups and downs of the economy prove Rabbi Daniel Lapin's famous principle that the more things change, the more we need to depend upon the things that never change. There's no better source for both practical and spiritual financial wisdom than the time-tested knowledge found in the ancient Jewish faith and its culture. In the second edition of Thou Shall Prosper, Lapin offers a practical approach to creating wealth based on the established principles of ancient Jewish wisdom.
