Historia
Dennis E. Taylor, author of the best-selling Bobiverse trilogy, explores a whole different, darker world in this sci-fi stand-alone. Determined to give his wife and children a better life back home, Ivan Pritchard ventures to the edge of known space to join the crew of the Mad Astra as an asteroid miner. He's prepared for hard work and loneliness—but not the unthinkable. After coming into contact with a mysterious alien substance, Pritchard finds an unwelcome entity sharing his mind, and a disturbing physical transformation taking place.

Good hard sci-fi book.

My only dislike is the fact there's not more in this series. some additional stories before or after the Arts show up would be nice.

Historia
In the eight years since his first full-length novel, Gridlinked, was published by Pan Macmillan, Neal Asher has firmly established himself as one of the leading British writers of science fiction, and his novels are now translated in many languages. Most of his stories are set in a galactic future-scape called The Polity, and with this collection of marvellously inventive and action-packed short stories, he takes us further into the manifold diversities of that amazing universe.

Not really a book in the series...
Revisado: 05-13-23
Not really a book in the series, but a series of short stories on which the Polity series is based or which are set in the Polity universe. It in no way continues the story line from the series. It alludes to things discovered in the books. Part of one of the short stories is included in one of the Polity books.
