How much do you know about the WW1? Well, this trivia book helps it's listeners find the answer to that question. For some people, it is sometimes best to learn history via trivia. This way, it is not as boring or depressing as sitting in a history class for hours. This book asks random questions about this great time in modern history, along with deeply researched and verified answers which make the listener more informed afterwards. Good stuff.

Crazy stories, but excellently told

Jack Rosewood is a master at true crime, and he has delivered another excellent collection through this book. A good true crime work is decided by the details and depth of information included. This makes it's content not only valuable as part research, but also enlightening. The narration is equally commendable, as it makes the book come alive. I do think this is a great read for other true crime explorers like myself.

Educative and fun.

This book is aimed at intermediate learners and it assumes some familiarity with common Italian words, phrases and verb conjugation. However, the next phase of merging all these things into seamless conversation is emphasized here. It is a very educative book, which is designed with a very convenient storytelling approach. This makes this book more than just an educational/learning piece, but also quite fun.

Excellent way to improve German accent and vocabul

One of the most effective methods of learning a language is to listen to a native speaker. This aids the improvement (and mastery) of enunciation and pronunciation. Here, it is German that is taught. The lessons are introduced as fun stories in a conversational manner, and short stories are also included to depict realistic situation for interaction. The aim being to bring the listener up to speed is easily achieved, depending on the listener's dedication. In the end, it is a good resource for speeding up German comprehension.

If you have tried to learn Brazilian portuguese the conventional way, had some difficulties and hope for a new way; this book is a breath of fresh air. It teaches standard Brazilian Portuguese vocabulary in a very interesting manner (stories). The stories are introduced in Portuguese (which might require some basic background to follow), and the meaning is given in English (to allow English learners get a good grasp of some misunderstood words). The quiz and vocabulary summary at the end of each section is a critical activity that helps the listener to really evaluate their progress. Overall, excellent curriculum, stories and narration.

Hawaii is even more fascinating.

Listening to this book is fun. The most fascinating aspect is the way in which each fact is presented. The narrator did a good job by making the entire listen conversational, yet informative. Hawaii is a beautiful place, but according to the facts from this book, it is much more than the paradise state of the United States.

Great stories; excellent curriculum

Improving conversational Italian is the main goal of this book. Mostly, not all parts of a language vocabulary is used for everyday conversation; however, there are some very common words. This book essentially presents the use of these words in regular, relatable conversations. While picturing the scene of the conversation, the listener is then able to practice how they would say the words properly if in that situation. I think this is a good resource for learning Italian, plus the stories are quite good.

Great book.

This is a very good book for daily reassurance and positive affirmations. In following the book, I have been able to motivate myself and improve my personality, mood, and general approach to life.
I also enjoyed the narration. The book is, however, in Spanish.

Very useful for learning Spanish.

This book has helped me to really improve my Spanish. The words are introduced in a simple fashion, contextualized in Spanish sentences, and the english translation is given to allow for context. However, It is more effective to play the audio at a reduced playback speed though, so as to follow how the words are being used. Overall, it is a good book which provides a wider access to understanding Spanish in a short time.
