extremely good story & performance.

Don't listen about the complaints regarding 6 speaking in 1st person. I really enjoyed being able to hear his thoughts and justifications. it gave another layer to an already complex character. My only issue is I have to wait until next year for the next book.

This was my first foray into any of Tom Wood's work. I was pleasantly suprised. I did find myself getting lost in his world. The action grabs you almost immediately. I look forward to reading (listening) to more in the series.

I really am enjoying all titles in the grey man series. the action is riveting. so far I haven't read "heard" one of his books that weren't nail biters. I love how Cort gets hurt making him relatable. he's not a super hero he just gets things done.

wonderful high fantasy.

this was a fantastic piece of brain candy. I'm looking forward to more in the series. if you just want a light "reading" book this is one for you. I enjoyed all thr characters with their back stories.
