Kaiju with a Twist

Its a pretty good story about how humans come to be able to change into Kaiju. Big Multi-national corporation backing a probably stolen bit of ancient tech that allows humans to change into Kaiju. The Kaiju are a bit more varied than Godzilla and crew, which is fine. Glad the science for it was loosely glossed over, as some authors really try overly hard to prove they are more than a geek with a great story idea and dive way to deep into that. Its a fun romp watching Eric figure out all the things he can do and the secrets he learns from talking to the echoes (thats what I thought of them) of the Kaiju he has defeated. All in all a fun listen and I hope he gets a sequel out soonish as they leave a great lead in for the next story.

Never never never thought this series would be as much fun as it is. A friend recommened it to me and now I am hooked. Fun and exciting to see all the screwed up situations these 2 get put in. Not a dull moment. Even a few where you feel for them in the messes they keep getting thrown into.

I hate to think the next book is the end for the Green Piece clan. It seems to me there could still be alot of ground to cover and loose threads to tie up. But this book was good and fun just like the rest of the series. Very good LitRPG, come on Audible please get better with sections, just lumping things into Sci Fi/ Fantasy does make it harder to find some of these gems. This one to me is a GEM!!

Its definitely a middle book

It is what it is kinda like Eastbound and Down from his other series (The Good Guys) except the travel is the story. The ending I liked with the sister rescued and it seems that her rescue was the real reason for the trip as it sounds like Clyde is going to a great lost evil city. So much for the Corpse King trying to take him over, that seems to have slipped to the back seat. I wont say it was bad but maybe it was the pacing or something that just felt off to me as I really have liked both of these series. Will buy the next one still!

Dead or alive? Not a hard question, and pretty easy to figure out either way. Usually. Except I've somehow woken up in a place called Hell, and I'm not entirely sure I died first. I thought it was a practical joke. Until a warrior woman tried to kill me, and I rescued an elf and a succubus from slavers. Then I started to realize something strange was going on. I didn't know the half of it. Turns out, this Hell is being terrorized by an evil Wraith King, and he’s hell-bent on bringing all of Hell under his dominion.

Nice build for the MC (Jon) he isnt handed miraculous overwhelming powers from the start, Nice twist with the land being named Hell and Jon not sure if he is in the biblical hell. The 2 main women in his life are pretty fleshed out and not just there for the sexy fun times. The narration is very good. I will certainly be getting the next installment.
