This book is everything a caregiver for a loved one with Alzheimer's needs. There is much to be said about the practical advice that Lisa offers: navigating the tangled world of American healthcare systems, finding tricks and strategies to support the patient at home, moving through to higher levels of care, and much more. These things are invaluable. But what really shines through and captivates the reader is Lisa’s love for Peter, her skillful storytelling, and her passion for making his life all it could be, then sharing that with others.

Compelling & Touching, A MUST read

"Oh, Hello Alzheimer's" is a must read for anyone that has been touched in some way by Alzheimer's disease. Lisa's honesty, tenderness, openness, and candor throughout the book bring her story to life in the most compelling way. Her love and dedication to Peter is beyond admirable and remained constant throughout the ups and downs of their journey. Having been a caregiver to my Dad who passed away from Alzheimer's, the experiences of the disease resonated profoundly with my heart.
The book's format of laying out their journey, Lisa's reflections, and then recommended thoughts to ponder is so well done throughout the entire read/listen. I found the audible book the perfect "read" for this story as Lisa's love, heart ache, pain, struggles, joys, dedication, and passion come through eloquently in her voice in every chapter.
