I found this book interesting from the beginning till the end. I loved all the details of his travels; people that he met, conversations he had, things he saw, food he tasted. It made me many times feel like I was there and definitely that I would like to go to these places too. He climbed Mount Ararat and the challenge and camaraderie were both significant. This man is a terrific writer, painting pictures with his words of lands hidden from the modern traveller, hidden behind danger and intrigue! I thought this was a really terrific book and I enjoyed listening to it.

They are a family bound into the lifeblood of the land, and their promise to preserve the magic has been the cause of great joy to them... as well as great sorrow.

Love this book. Love that it is a series! Narrator is so good at different voices for the various characters. No problem at all with hearing issues so Audible must have fixed that.

In the style so familiar in his past work, this story was funny and very entertaining. I call it wonderful. The narrator wso true to his voices and excellent in catching the characters personalities through his voices. This was one of my favorites. I enjoyed it tremendously.

I have loved the film by this name for a long time. Surprised and delighted to discover it came from a book, I quickly searched on Audible for it. Throughout this audio book it has been a compelling listening experience. The extra information given in the book enhanced my understanding of the film and the relationships therein. There are a few differences, of course, between the film and the book. However, I absolutely loved listening to "Four Feathers". The narrator was perfect.
