Historia
This is not the story of preppers with stockpiles of food, weapons, and a hidden bunker. This is the story of Colton Ryman, his stay-at-home wife, Madison, and their teenage daughter, Alex. In 36 Hours, the Ryman family and the rest of the world will be thrust into the darkness of a post-apocalyptic world.

Sub-par, short, corny
Revisado: 07-06-18
This book was too short, corny, and boring. Not much really happened and it’s more of a blast at current American culture, most of which I agree with but it’s kind of forced down your throat. Worth half a credit.
No buddy swears, minimal violence so pretty boring in my mind!

Historia
Nine months ago Sara Adams awoke with no memory. The man holding her hand told her she's a member of The Light, a tight-knit religious group led by the terrifying and charismatic Father Gabriel. As a woman in the community of The Light, her duty is to be unquestionably obedient and to submit to the will of her husband. But as Sara's memory starts to return and she remembers her past, she sees that everything she's been told is a lie. The Light is an insidious and dangerous organization.

Housewife Soft Porn in a Cult
Revisado: 01-29-17
Good narration. Too many descriptive sex scenes, and I don't mean this because I am some kind of prude. Far from that, believe me. It just seems like the book was written for frustrated housewives or something, that just need to turn the book off and grab the UPS driver or pizza delivery boy and stop reading about other people's sex.
The rest of the story keeps you going long enough if you are like me and have to finish everything. Which now I wish I didn't. The ending was left so their could be a third book, but I have had enough. Do I regret using my credits for these two books? Kinda, but I made it through them and they helped pass the time. Who am I to criticize anyway? I haven't ever even written any book! Good luck.

Historia
1794, the height of the French Revolution - Charles Hayden sets off aboard the ill-fated HMS Themis with orders to destroy a French frigate sailing from Le Havre and to gather intelligence from a royalist spy. On discovering French plans for an imminent invasion of England, Hayden must return to Portsmouth to give warning before it’s too late. But the enemy has been lying in wait for him, and so begins a dangerous chase out into the Atlantic and into the clutches of a powerful French squadron. After a thwarted attempt to masquerade as French sailors, Hayden and his officers are taken prisoner.

Great story, narration. Flawless in my estimation. I've listened to it twice now!

Historia
When Beth Leonard and her partner, Evans Starzinger, returned from a three-year, 35,000-mile circumnavigation, they thought they were done with offshore voyaging. But neither realized how irrevocably they had been changed by their experience, nor how irresistible the siren song of the sea would prove. In comparison, life ashore seemed dull and monochrome, and within months, Beth knew she had to go back to sea in order to remain true to the person she had become.

Makes me wanna go!
Revisado: 02-22-15
Makes me want to get out there and do it myself!
The narrator wasn't the greatest. She doesn't put enough panache into it, and she mispronounces quite a few words, but overall well worth a listen. In fact I've read the old fashioned physical book once and now have listened to the audio version twice.

Historia
Sailing, Yachts and Yarns is a selection of Tom Cunliffe’s funniest, wisest and most thought-provoking writing from the pages of Yachting Monthly. Tom’s love of language and sense of humour shine through as he recalls the wealth of sinners and saints he has met on docksides from Southampton to South America, Greenwich to Greenland and Newtown to New York. He has a gift for capturing the magic of sail and finding pearls of practical wisdom in the most unlikely nautical adventures.

Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

A must listen, and even though I highly respect the author and am grateful for his service, the story was a bit
rambling and pretty corny at times. I am very glad I listened though and recommend it. The narrator was perfect.
