Historia
Prepare to learn everything we still don’t know about our strange and mysterious Universe. Humanity's understanding of the physical world is full of gaps. Not tiny little gaps you can safely ignore - there are huge yawning voids in our basic notions of how the world works. PHD Comics creator Jorge Cham and particle physicist Daniel Whiteson have teamed up to explore everything we don't know about the Universe: The enormous holes in our knowledge of the cosmos. Armed with entertaining and lucid explanations of science, they give us the best answers currently available.

Great Book !
Revisado: 10-15-21
This is a great book. I have listened and read many books about physics, and the universe. I am not a physicist, and I always had many naive questions, like why the does the atom consist of protons, neutrons, and electrons. The title of this book gives the answer to this question and to many other similar questions. It is good that it is written by an actual physicist, so "We have no idea" do not come from ignorance.

Historia
This audiobook explores how the discoveries within the Solar System and of exoplanets far beyond it come together to help us understand the habitability of Earth, and how these findings guide the search for exoplanets that could support life. The author highlights how, within two decades of the discovery of the first planets outside the Solar System in the 1990s, scientists concluded that planets are so common that most stars are orbited by them. The lives of exoplanets and their stars are inextricably interwoven.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. I have been a space junkie from childhood, even though I work in totally different area. Exoplanets are relatively new field, and I learned a lot.

Enjoyed this book a lot. Gave me a glimpse of how life may have originated, the good and bad part of having warm blood, and the advantages of sex and why we do not live forever. Highly recommended.

Historia
In 1989 Ken Follett astonished the literary world with The Pillars of the Earth, set in 12th-century England. Readers and listeners ever since have hoped for a sequel. At last, here it is. Although the two novels may be listened to in any order, World Without End also takes place in Kingsbridge, two centuries after the townspeople finished building their exquisite Gothic cathedral. The cathedral is again at the center of a web of love and hate, greed and pride, ambition and revenge.

Highly entertaining - good for long commutes
Revisado: 10-15-21
Great book, highly entertaining, just like the first of the series. Audio version is perfect for long car commutes, easy to follow even in heavy traffic. Perhaps bit too much details on sex and violence, but overall a great read.

Do not buy the audio version
Revisado: 10-15-21
This book is not suitable for the audio format. It is a lot of bullet points, aimed to those who already know a lot about motivational interviewing. Impossible to follow when you drive in a car.
