Appropriately Hyped

This story is definitely appropriately hyped. I’m always a little less likely when a fantasy romance goes viral on booktok but this one is worth it. Especially the audio. These narrators nailed the characters and I hope Hope Hope they are used for the next book in the series.

I am really happy this book ended the way it did. A small cliffy but nothing like hanging off the side of the cliff. This was doable and I thank Callie for that.

Loved this story. It’s definitely very different and unique in my opinion.

Beautiful Reread

I read this book almost 3 years ago and thought it was time for a reread.

The story is just as beautiful and heartbreaking on audio, maybe even more so. The narrators were perfect for Ivory and Emeric. I caught myself tearing up during parts I don’t remember tearing up at.

If you’re looking for a spicy forbidden story that will probably make you tear up and has one of my favorite epilogues ever in it, here you go.

Ria Doesn’t Miss

Love loved LOVED this MMF story. I’ve now officially read all of Ria’s books that are out and you literally cannot go wrong with any of them.

If you’ve read No Saint, you’ve met Enzo already, the quiet, broody, rough man. This is his story with Hawke and Blake.

I cried and laughed and loved these characters and their story.

I’m a fan of Lucy Rivers already so I loved her in this. Alastair was a new to me narrator and he performed both Enzo and Hawke wonderfully.

Prepare for Some Tears

I had read this book a few times before. I love Jescie and I love her writing. It’s such an emotional story.

However, when listening to it, it becomes so much more. Avery and Joe both made the tears fall. Yup, I cried over a book that didn’t make me cry before.

If you like a good forbidden romance, definitely give this one a try. Jescie’s words will rip you apart and Avery and Joe give it their all.

What a Cast

This was a beast of a book.

The spice was AMAZING. I haven’t read spice like this in my why choose books.

The storyline is interesting and engaging. I’m curious to see how book 3 will be going. This really didn’t have to bad of a cliff hanger in my opinion.

The cast of narrators? Unbelievable. I think each voice matches the character perfectly.

Look, this book had no business being this hot but alas it was.

If you like why choose, dystopian, yeah, read this one. Usually when I read a why choose there’s always 1 guy I don’t care for in the group. Not in this one. Nope. I love all 5 guys in this one.

What happens when you’ve been on your own for four years after an apocalypse and there are hardly any women around? Men become scary. So why do you decide to go with and trust 5 dangerous men? Because they’re different. Duh! Lol I just love that the men told her up front they’d be sharing her. I mean, at least they were honest about that haha

Yes this ends on a cliff hanger!

Great Palette Cleanser

Age Gap, ex boyfriends dad? Yes please!

As someone who reads a lot of dark romance, I need and appreciate stories like these for when I need a break. This was just what I needed. It was so cute and sweet.

I also realize I love stories where the couple is in their 30s or 40s.

Lucy and Sebastian nailed this narration. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Way to Reread

This is a reread for me. I LOVE this story. I found it when it was published on Wattpad last year. I was so happy when I found out Jescie was going to publish it.

This narration was TOP TIER. I’ve been wanting to do a reread for a while now and thought, let’s try the audio. Joe and Desiree are amazing. The dual narration? That’s my favorite thing ever.

If you like dark romance with alllll the triggers, give this one a try.

It’s a no from me

The narrator of this book? LOVE LOVE LOVE. However, based on recent events, I just can’t give this story anything other than one star. I’m extremely disappointed with how things played out and won’t be supporting this author anymore. If you like the narrator of this story, check out Scream for Us by Molly Doyle as he narrates that one and has more upcoming projects.
